REVIVE LIVE grant

up to $150k of Funding TO SUPPORT australian live music venues

and UP to $250k for larger festivals

Applications open 3 August and Close 28 August.

Applications are now open for the Australian Government's Revive Live Open Competitive Grant Program, providing up to $12.5 million nationally to strengthen Australia's live music industry. Funding is available for established live music venues and music festivals that present original Australian contemporary music, with grants of up to $150,000 for venues and $250,000 for larger festivals.

Businesses who move early will be in the strongest position to access this funding.

At PWP Projects, we help venues and organisers to prepare strategic, competitive funding applications that stand out.

Whether you're looking to expand your programming, improve accessibility, upgrade equipment or strengthen the long-term sustainability of your venue or festival, we'll guide you through every step of the process.

We Help You Build a Competitive Application

Competitive grant programs are about much more than filling in forms.

While AI might make writing the application process feel easier, the truth is, everybody’s doing it, which means your application may read exactly the same as hundreds of others.

Strong applications require:

  • Strategic project planning

  • Well-developed budgets

  • Strong alignment with program guidelines

And a few other key elements that we will share with you through the process.

Our role is to turn your project into a compelling, evidence-based submission that aligns with what assessors are looking for.

Our Process

We work closely with every client throughout the application process:

  1. Initial project discussion

  2. Eligibility assessment

  3. Project planning and positioning

  4. Budget development

  5. Collection of supporting documentation

  6. Preparation of the grant application

  7. Review and submission support

Our approach is practical, collaborative and designed to minimise the workload for busy venue operators and festival organisers.

Why Work With PWP?

Over the past eight years, PWP Projects has helped clients secure more than $150 million in government funding across tourism, events, hospitality, manufacturing, community infrastructure, sustainability, creative industries and regional development. We don’t just write grants, but we are very good at it.

We also have project management experience, which includes the formation of music festival programs, hospitality venue upgrades, and supporting clients to achieve funding to support these.

We understand how government assessors think because we don't simply write applications. We develop projects that align with funding objectives, industry priorities and long-term business outcomes.

Limited Capacity

This is a nationally competitive program, and preparing a high-quality submission takes time.

Applications close 28 August 2026, and successful projects will typically have completed significant planning well before submission.

To ensure every client receives the attention their application deserves, we will accept only a limited number of Revive Live projects each funding round.
